They all know you; they've got that family business feel to them, so when you ring up they know who you are. They're good accountants too but it's friendliness that stands out. We don't really use them to provide business advice as such, they manage our accounts pensions and payroll, and they help us to analyse our accounts every year and point out things to us, but we've worked out our own business strategy. I'm sure they would help us if we asked them. The other accountants we used in the past started small then grew bigger through acquisitions and mergers, and we became a small fish in a big pond, and it lost that personal touch. BWP have expanded, but maintain the family feel to them.

The response times are good; whenever I ask for information I get it back quickly, and they just know how I work and how to deliver the information. They're good. Our turnover has increased dramatically. The support with VAT returns etc. makes sure everything goes to the right areas, they just help us immensely.

I like that BWP are Local, prompt in response, personable, and professional. The improved accounting allows us to plan and forecast, and using Xero gives us very up to date accounting information. They're got a wider knowledge base than previous accountants I've worked with. Everybody we've has been easy to communicate with but also knows what they're doing in terms of their job, and if they aren't sure they're happy to go away and find out.

They're very responsive; we know we will get good answers out of them. They do everything we need. We have benefitted quite a lot from working with BWP, we don't have an accountant on site and they provide all our primary accounting facility, everything from payroll, day to day accounting enquiries etc. We rely on them quite a bit.

Instant service: if you have a query you ring them up and if they can't answer straight away, somebody does shortly afterwards. We've been with Steve for a hell of a long time now and he has managed our accounts without problem for several years. Our last accountant got us in a bit of a mess and Steve sorted everything out and since then we've had no problems.

You can always get straight through to the person you need to speak to who gives you a solution on the first point of contact rather than having to call you back. The expertise they've got in the organisation also stands out. We hadn't been with BWP for long before covid, and they were very proactive and reassuring in helping with all the fuss due to that situation. They provide partnership and support which is very reassuring. I think they're much more forward looking and modern in their approach than others, and quite creative in the peripheral services; the mentoring services.

It's quite a personable service; the people who look after our account know the ins and outs of the business so it's quite a one-to-one service that they provide. We use them as an accountant but they also offer a business mentor service so we have meetings with Steve Price twice a month to run through the strategy of the business. We've only used BWP Inspire. I've known the director personally for 20 odd years.
