Connecting Clients

Once you’re logged in, the next step is connecting your first client. This unlocks the reporting and modelling tools that show you (and them) the real power of VFD Pro.

To-do checklist (optional):

  • Connect your first client to the Portal.
  • Choose the right connection type (Trial, Business Overview, or full plan).
  • Run a Business Overview report to see the data in action.

Unlimited Trial Connections (Business Development)

Use Trial (Business Development) connections to give prospects 30 days of access, an easy way to demonstrate value and win new clients.

  • No limit on how many trials you create.
  • Run reports, fix bookkeeping issues, and re-run before presenting.
  • Use insights as an upsell opportunity if you don’t currently manage their bookkeeping.

Unlimited Business Overview Connections

The Business Overview Report is included for as many clients as you like.

  • Some firms charge £50–£150/month for this alone.
  • Others use it to add value for free, then adjust fees later as the client sees results.
  • Either way, it’s a simple, powerful way to start deeper conversations.
