I recently completed the FiMBO programme - a 12-session journey designed to help business owners like me better understand the financial planning to help grow and eventually sell your business. Out of all the sessions, the one that truly stood out was number 10, Exit Planning expertly delivered by Cliff Spolander and the most impactful takeaway for me was learning about the two crucial numbers that can make all the difference in the success of my exit strategy. This eye-opening experience taught me the importance of planning five years in advance if I intend to sell my business.The stark reality of how few people actually sell their businesses for their desired price was a sobering revelation, thanks to the often-repeated message in every session.The FiMBO programme is not only worthwhile but also essential for anyone considering growing or selling their business. What stands out about the service is the visualisation and setting up is really very good. And the reporting features which are so valuable are good.

I am a massive advocate of VFD. Helping clients to go on a journey from compliance driven to value adding. Accountants have access to everything from credit, funding options through to exit planning.

VFD are very innovative, very advanced with their software. With other companies you have to manipulate it and with VFD its great. You can produce easy to read reports and the range of reports are always growing. They have recently improved the way some of the reports look making them easy to read. This is saving so much of the accountants time, it really is great.

No sales crap. It is very much straight to the point about how we can help the client and how the tool that they are providing will be able to help the client. It's not saying you need to use VFD it just saying this tool is out there to help you if you want to, but it will help you start the conversation and its about getting into the mindset of the conversation and if you want to use VFD it's there for you.

VFD Pro gives you quite a lot of intuitive information and I think that's quite good. It reacts to the linkage with Xero and it produces almost instant results. I think that's probably the main benefit of it.

One of the main benefits is you're in teams of up to about 10 who are learning how to use the VFD Pro and we're talking through real live situations. It's more about how you apply it rather than just learning the piece of software; it's about how you use it to get the most out of it which is of key importance to me. I get information and help quickly which is good. I don't want to leave a message with someone I talk to once in a blue moon, they always come back to me quickly and I really like that.

It's great to know you are got value out of the 12 week VFD Mastery Programme, and yes you are right, the software itself is so easy to use it requires no training, it is absolutely all about how to engage the business owner. It is also great to know the personal support is appreciated.We are working hard to enhance the cash flow management aspect of the system so I think you are in for even more treats in the near future. You are also right that we cover a lot in the training sessions but please don't forget they are all recorded so you can rewatch as often as you wish/need to and if you want a more personal experience, having attended one course, you are always welcome to join a future course, (or simply dip in and out of sessions you feel you need more support on.

I think it's a fantastic product. Delving into the reports and learning more about them picks up all the little bits you might miss otherwise, which is very good. Steve has been phenomenal with his communication; when I've not been there due to computer issues he's recapped things. The communication has been top quality. One think I love about Steve is, if he doesn't know he doesn't try and blag answers, he says " I don't know, I'll find out and get back to you."

Key benefits are sales training, understanding the product, and application. The twofold benefit for us will be the increased revenue and insight into the company, and for the client's insight into how their company can operate, and to help them grow, and training the managers in finance; getting them to understand the finance and how important finance is.
