The service from Rivington Accounts is personal: it's not very formal in the fact that I can just pick up the phone and have a chat. They've been helpful with the different things they offer, it's helped us plan better and they've offered advice when I've needed it. I've only worked with one other account and Rivington Accounts are more modern. The reason we moved to Rivington Accounts is that the previous accountant didn't have the knowledge of the software we're using for our accounts, but Rivington Accounts are modern and up to date, so they're in touch with technology and there's always someone there who knows more than we do.
I think what they're doing recently, for a business like mine with no one trained on accounts, that they've been out exploring ways to help us to improve is fantastic. I know they'll come back with a proposal that might cost me something but I think that's going to be worth something, rather than some accountants who just see you once a year; they're checking in on us basically.

The service from Rivington Accounts is the most trustworthy; they're reliable and we can email them and have a response, if not straight away, at least fairly soon with an answer or that they're looking into it for us. It's a really genuine service that we can put our trust in. Working with Rivington Accounts has really helped our productivity in terms that it's taken so much stress of the accounts away from myself, with not being accountant trained it has taken the stress off and allowed me to get on with everything else knowing that it's all in hand. In terms of the other accountant we use in another country, Rivington Accounts are so much more friendly and approachable; they're always really happy and don't make you feel silly for asking questions. It's just such a friendly manner that they handle everything in.

The service is personal; I can pick up the phone and actually speak to a person. Rivington Accounts are good; they're very efficient and they're a backup for me as if I'm not sure of something I can always pick up the phone to them. Working with Rivington Accounts has made the business much more efficient; the systems we have in place are much better. Rivington Accounts are far more cutting edge and up to date with current things than other accountants I've worked with. Everything is more digital and online based which makes things a lot easier.

The personal touch that Rivingtons provide is fantastic. They're very good at their job and do it well. I'm a very personable person so I want the relationship as well as the service and they give us the full package. You can't praise them enough. No matter when I phone them and the question I ask, they'll always take the time to explain it to me. Ultimately, I'm not very savvy when it comes to accounting but I run a business and the only way it really works, when it comes to the financial aspect, is with the support of Rivingtons; without them I'd be lost. Most accountants are very straight to the point; They come in, sit down, want the facts, you give them the facts and they go away, and they don't really like people like me who ask stupid questions, so Rivingtons are a breath of fresh air.

Accounting is quite a serious thing and their friendly nature makes it a bit more causal and less daunting. It's an element of the business that we have very little understanding of so being able to trust them to look after everything and keep everything above board makes a big difference. We joined Rivington Accounts after Martin approached Emily, our MD, at a business event and it was after chatting with him that she realised he was approachable and trustworthy and easy to get on with.

They do the profit first banking and they're forward thinking and modern. They've helped me to get organised, and face up to my finances. Rivington Accounts are knowledgeable and have helped to educate me. They're so much better than my last accountant in terms of communication and clarity, and just being able to get hold of them quite easily. They do save you time in the sense that they come up with systems that save you time.

Rivington Accounts are lovely friendly people, totally reliable, and provide a very personal service. If I send Martin an email, unless he's away on a family holiday, I get a reply within half a day. I'm filled with lots of confidence that they're working in my best interests. I also like their honesty; if my enquiry is outside their scope of expertise they're very good at directing me to someone who can help.
There have been some tax savings. It's lovely to just have that reassurance that I'm staying the right side of the tax laws so I can get on and build my business without fly by night finances; they're looking after my best interests in the background. I moved across from my previous accountant as it became obvious to me that his advice was in his best interests, not mine. The one before that was really boring, Martin's not boring he's fun. And the one prior to that, there were trust issues. It's lovely to have an accountant I can trust who's also very personable. It's not just Martin but all of his team, they are just nice people.
