BurtonSweet are local, friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and helpful. Working with BurtonSweet saves me having to worry about my tax and VAT. They're not stuck up; I just think they're pragmatic, and a lot less formal than some accountants. As accountants go they're very reasonably priced. I've rung them before and asked if they can recommend anyone in a particular field such as pensions, or liability insurance, and they've been fairly helpful although it's not in their remit. They're always doing newsletters, breakfast meetings and local networking stuff.

BurtonSweet are responsive, and carried out auditing to our timescale. We get a signed audit report in a very timely manner. I've only got one other accountant that I've used with this business to compare them to and BurtonSweet are better and quicker. We have a very small timescale in which to get our audited accounts out and they can do it.

I've been with BurtonSweet for a long long time, something like 30 years, and we have a bit of banter and they generally do as they're told. It's pretty good service; we can pick the phone up and speak to people who make the decisions there. They're pretty good all round. They help to keep the tax man happy in respect of providing information for loans.
